INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 30, 2021) — TechPoint has officially launched the entry process for the 23rd annual Mira Awards, Indiana’s largest, best known and most prestigious technology awards program. People are encouraged to enter the awards themselves or they can nominate others in 15 different “Best of Tech in Indiana” award categories. The Mira Awards gala, which is often referred to as “Tech’s Biggest Night” and the “Oscars of Tech” for the state of Indiana, will return to the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis as an in-person event next spring on Saturday, April 23, 2022. After 2-year hiatus, TechPoint brings back Sales Bootcamps in 2022

INDIANAPOLIS — Nov. 15, 2021 — Applications are now open for TechPoint’s Sales Bootcamp, a free four-week program to help adults -- often times career changers or recent graduates -- learn the skills and make the connections to land a job in tech sales. “Tech companies are back in growth mode and in need of sales talent to fuel that growth,” said TechPoint CEO Mike Langellier. “Sales is a critical role for growing companies and offers a career path with high earnings potential for performance. 22 students to share $25,000 prize purse in TechPoint’s 2021 S.O.S. Challenge

INDIANAPOLIS — August 2, 2021 — Twenty-two students from a dozen universities and colleges will share in the $25,000 Summer Opportunities for Skills Challenge (S.O.S. Challenge) prize purse and an opportunity to participate in Elevate Ventures’ Fall 2021 Regional Nexus Pitch Competition. The event was the culmination of six weeks of work that involved 170 students and recent coding graduates from Eleven Fifty Academy working on 39 teams with 81 coaches from 42 Indianapolis area tech companies. The objective was to create solutions for challenges communities across Indiana (and the world) are currently facing as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. TechPoint expands popular Xtern talent program to Muncie

July 28, 2020 — On Friday, July 31, TechPoint, the nonprofit, industry-led growth accelerator for Indiana’s technology companies, and Governor Eric Holcomb will announce the winners of the TechPoint Summer Opportunities for Students Challenge (S.O.S.). The Challenge, provided up to 500 students from Indiana colleges and universities a five-week summer internship experience, helping them strengthen their resumes, demonstrate skills, make professional connections and develop potential solutions to a number of COVID-19-related problems. The student teams were assigned “coaches” from a pool of 200 volunteers from the Indiana tech community.
