Kristen Lampkin Named to 2025 IBJ Forty Under 40 Class

Kristen Lampkin leads Business Equity for Indy, a joint effort of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and the Indy Chamber, in collaboration with the Indianapolis Urban League. The initiative aims to promote workplace diversity and foster economic opportunity for people of color through training, resources, data and advocacy. Central to her role is building relationships with other nonprofits, community organizations and partners. “Kristen Lampkin’s work and leadership,” one peer said, “is at the forefront of growing a more inclusive business environment.” Lampkin helped launch the People Community of Practice, a forum to provide guidance to hiring professionals as they look to increase diversity within their companies. CICP unveils AI survey results to explore organization usage and overall interest of AI adoption statewide

INDIANAPOLIS — Exploring how key industry sectors in Indiana are using or plan to use artificial intelligence (AI), the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) today unveiled results from its AI in Indiana survey, which was administered statewide last fall in partnership with two of its branded initiatives – Conexus Indiana and TechPoint. The AI in Indiana survey generated nearly 200 responses with 55 percent indicating the adoption of at least one AI capability—a share in-line with McKinsey & Company’s Global Survey on AI, a widely recognized survey that inspired CICP’s survey questions and has been used by economists and community leaders to track the progress of tech adoption. New IU Indianapolis, Lilly partnership to boost talent pipelines, workforce development with support from CICP, 16 Tech

Indiana University Indianapolis and Eli Lilly and Company are launching a new co-op partnership to enhance talent pipelines and expand workforce development opportunities for people in central Indiana. The collaboration will connect undergraduate students from several IU Indianapolis schools and degree programs with opportunities at Lilly. This hands-on training will position students to enter and grow their careers in the state of Indiana while meeting the talent needs at one of the state’s largest employers.
