Jason Kloth, Ascend Indiana president and CEO, to step down

Jason Kloth, president and CEO, Ascend Indiana INDIANAPOLIS – Ascend Indiana today announced that President and CEO Jason Kloth, will step down on January 1, 2024. Kloth who helped to create the talent and workforce development organization nearly nine years ago, will serve in a consulting capacity after the first of the year to ensure a smooth transition. In addition to consulting for Ascend, CICP, and others, Kloth plans to focus on his family and spending more time with his two young children. INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 17, 2023) – Five startup companies will receive $100,000 each thanks to a new accelerator program focused on transforming education and workforce learning, especially with advanced technology. INDIANAPOLIS — Celebrating its silver anniversary next year, TechPoint’s Mira Awards gala—known as the “Oscars of Tech in Indiana”—will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Old National Centre in Indianapolis. New art exhibit shines light on Indiana’s advanced manufacturing industry through the lens of Indiana photographer

INDIANAPOLIS – The Hoosiers and the technologies behind Indiana’s advanced manufacturing industry take center stage in a new art exhibit, featuring images captured by Indianapolis photographer Michael Durr. “The Art of Modern Manufacturing: Views through a different lens” opens on Friday, October 6 and runs through Friday, October 27. The exhibit, which is free to the public, is accompanied by an audio tour with commentary from Durr, writer Sandra Cline and Conexus Indiana Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ryan Henderson. Durr, in partnership with Conexus Indiana, traveled statewide to capture nearly 80,000 images to document how Indiana manufacturers and Hoosier workers are using smart manufacturing technologies – such as cobots, additive manufacturing and advanced robotics – to increase productivity and competitiveness.
