Purdue University and Indiana University Officially Split IUPUI

(Photo courtesy: Purdue University) On June 14, 2023, Purdue University trustees and Indiana University trustees simultaneously approved the agreements that will effectively dissolve Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) on June 30, 2024. At the same time, Purdue University established Purdue University in Indianapolis, that will consist of multiple locations around the city providing degrees from Purdue University West Lafayette. The urban campus will assume responsibility for the existing engineering, computer science and technology programs at IUPUI.
