EmployIndy Launches Marion County’s Good Wages Initiative Based on CICP Report

EmployIndy has publicly launched the Good Wages Initiative (GWI) in Marion County which certifies, celebrates, and showcases Marion County employers that have voluntarily committed to providing full-time employees both a wage of at least $18/hour and access to employer-sponsored health insurance benefits. In 2018, the Brookings Institution partnered with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership to produce a report examining Central Indiana’s economic future. Advancing Opportunity in Central Indiana outlines numerous ways the area can develop strategies to increase the availability of more good and promising jobs that pay living wages. CICP Releases 2021 Annual Report

CICP has released its 2021 annual report. In another year that brought many challenges due to the global pandemic, CICP once again rose to the challenges of the moment, while also building for the future. CICP marked many milestones including, the issuing of four reports from Brookings Institution and the American Enterprise Institute for the Indiana GPS Project, the Business Equity for Indy initiative marked one year of advancing racial equity, and CICP conducted 43 COVID-19 special member teleconferences on the pandemic. CICP Foundation receives grants totaling $34.6 million from Lilly Endowment Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS (March 14, 2022) – The CICP Foundation, as the supporting foundation for the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), has received five inter-related grants totaling $34.6 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. for work by CICP and four of its sector initiatives, AgriNovus Indiana, BioCrossroads, Conexus Indiana and TechPoint. CICP and its related sector initiatives are focused on the development and implementation of collaborative strategies and programs to build upon Indiana’s prosperity. 16 Tech Awards Third Cycle of Community Investment Fund Grants
