INDIANAPOLIS (June 16, 2022)- The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) has been named a Certified Good Wages Initiative Indianapolis employer of choice. INDIANAPOLIS (June 7, 2022) – Ann Murtlow, president and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana, was recognized Tuesday as the latest recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash award, one of the state’s most esteemed honors. EmployIndy Launches Marion County’s Good Wages Initiative Based on CICP Report

EmployIndy has publicly launched the Good Wages Initiative (GWI) in Marion County which certifies, celebrates, and showcases Marion County employers that have voluntarily committed to providing full-time employees both a wage of at least $18/hour and access to employer-sponsored health insurance benefits. In 2018, the Brookings Institution partnered with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership to produce a report examining Central Indiana’s economic future. Advancing Opportunity in Central Indiana outlines numerous ways the area can develop strategies to increase the availability of more good and promising jobs that pay living wages. CICP has released its 2021 annual report. In another year that brought many challenges due to the global pandemic, CICP once again rose to the challenges of the moment, while also building for the future. CICP marked many milestones including, the issuing of four reports from Brookings Institution and the American Enterprise Institute for the Indiana GPS Project, the Business Equity for Indy initiative marked one year of advancing racial equity, and CICP conducted 43 COVID-19 special member teleconferences on the pandemic. CICP is also truly grateful for the generous support of Lilly Endowment Inc. which late in the year provided the CICP Foundation with a 3-year, $34.6 million grant for the scientific, educational and charitable work of CICP, AgriNovus Indiana, BioCrossroads, Conexus Indiana and TechPoint. INDIANAPOLIS – 16 Tech Community Corporation, the nonprofit organization responsible for the programmatic and physical development of the 16 Tech Innovation District, has announced Emily Krueger as its next President and CEO. Krueger will lead the organization effective June 1, succeeding Bob Coy, who announced his retirement last year. Krueger joined 16 Tech in May 2018 as Chief Operating Officer. CICP Foundation receives grants totaling $34.6 million from Lilly Endowment Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS (March 14, 2022) – The CICP Foundation, as the supporting foundation for the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), has received five inter-related grants totaling $34.6 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. for work by CICP and four of its sector initiatives, AgriNovus Indiana, BioCrossroads, Conexus Indiana and TechPoint. CICP and its related sector initiatives are focused on the development and implementation of collaborative strategies and programs to build upon Indiana’s prosperity. Approximately one-fourth of the grant funding will be used to support CICP’s coordinated leadership across the organization’s initiative structure to deliver programs and projects that include: Accelerating and increasing innovation and the deployment of digital technologies across Indiana’s advanced industries to strengthen regional economic competitiveness. 16 Tech Awards Third Cycle of Community Investment Fund Grants

INDIANAPOLIS – 16 Tech Community Corporation, the non-profit organization leading the physical and programmatic development of the 16 Tech Innovation District, announced $300,000 in grant awards to 11 resident-endorsed projects that directly benefit the vitality of nearby neighborhoods.
