INDIANAPOLIS (August 15, 2022) – Today, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana (JACI) announced the four Laureates who will be inducted into the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame this year. New report highlights impact and growth of healthcare and life sciences sector in Northeast Indiana region

(July 28, 2022) – Indiana’s northeast region, an 11-county area* including Fort Wayne and Warsaw, saw healthcare and life sciences jobs grow by more than 11% between 2015 and 2020, outpacing overall private sector growth of 2 percent. Central Indiana Corporate Partnership’s branded initiative Energy Systems Network merges with the Battery Innovation Center

INDIANAPOLIS (July 28, 2022) –The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) today announced that one of its branded industry sector initiatives, Energy Systems Network (ESN), which is focused on advanced energy technology and transportation, is merging with the Battery Innovation Center (BIC) effective August 5, 2022. ESN was formed by CICP in 2009. In 2010, ESN created the BIC as a collaborative commercialization project seeking to advance Indiana’s ability to develop, test, manufacture, and commercialize battery and related energy systems technologies. Ascend Indiana and EmployIndy receive a $6 million grant to scale Modern Youth Apprenticeship for high school students in Central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (June 28, 2022) – Ascend Indiana, the talent and workforce development initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), and EmployIndy, Marion County’s workforce development board, have received $6 million for three years from the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation to support the scaling of Modern Youth Apprenticeship (MAP) in Marion County. In addition, the grant will help to enhance the connection between employers and education providers to enable expansion of youth career pathways in the state. MAP is a three-year work-based learning experience starting in high school that combines paid employment, on-the-job learning, related academics, aligned college credit, and industry-recognized credentials. Johnson will retire from his leadership responsibilities at the end of 2022. 2022 marks the tenth year that Johnson has led the organization. State invests in future, modernization of Indiana manufacturing operations through next round of Readiness Grants

INDIANAPOLIS (June 20, 2022) – The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), in partnership with Conexus Indiana, announced the sixth round of awards totaling nearly $4 million in Manufacturing Readiness Grants to 43 Indiana businesses, supporting a projected $46.1 million in technology-enabled capital investment across Indiana. “Manufacturing is in Indiana’s DNA—we build things,” said Governor Eric J.
