Ascend Indiana names three industry leaders to its Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS - Ascend Indiana, the talent and workforce development initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), announced today three new members to its Board of Directors. Andrew Ball, co-CEO of West Lafayette, Ind.-based Henriott Group, and Teresa Wade, founder and owner of CFA Staffing, have joined the 32-member Ascend Indiana Board of Directors. Conexus Indiana recently released its latest report, AI in Indiana Survey Report highlighting the state of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Indiana advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) ecosystem. For the last three years, Conexus Indiana has studied Industry 4.0 technology adoption trends among Indiana manufacturers. Data from the three surveys, fielded between 2020 and 2022, showed many Indiana manufacturers are steadily increasing adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies with a focus on efficiency and productivity gains in their production facilities. CICP releases 2023 annual report

CICP has released its 2023 annual report, marking another transformative year for the organization, its five talent and industry sector initiatives and its programs. Melina Kennedy, CICP’s new CEO assumed her role in February, and the organization saw leadership changes with two of its initiatives Ascend Indiana and BioCrossroads. In addition, Sue Ellspermann, president of Ivy Tech, was named the chair of the CICP Board of Directors.
