Topping Out Ceremony Held for 16 Tech’s First Building, CICP HQ
The structural steel has been going up at the 16 Tech Innovation District for a number of weeks now, setting the stage for today’s topping out ceremony for the first building known as the Advanced Research and Innovation Building.
As a part of the build, 16 Tech’s developer has been taking around a 10 foot beam from the building to have people in the community sign their names, including the first tenants of the building.
The tenants of the $30 million building will be the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) and the IU School of Medicine’s newly established Center for Regenerative Medicine.
