IIB: Ascend Indiana Funding Targets Skills Gap

In a recent interview with Inside INdiana Business, Ascend Indiana, the talent and workforce development initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), announced $2.4 million in funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. and the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust to further its efforts to close the skills gap.

In addition, Ascend Indiana President and CEO Jason Kloth and Beth Sims, Network Director, Community Health Network talked about Ascend’s custom talent pipelines for employers and the new Ascend Network, an innovative cloud-based platform that combines a tech-enabled algorithm with something that is often overlooked in the job search process: human interaction.
